Façade Materials : Research Update

 I can consider designing the exterior of the facility as one of the challenges I faced in this project. I conducted a lot of researches to determine all the materials that I am going to use for the facade of my project. In general, the shape of my railway station will be wavy.

 According to a recent study conducted by neuroscientists from Toronto University says that Using curves and waves in shapes are emotionally preferred by human brains. 

So I am going to build the whole project with concrete and other basic materials usedd for building. Inside these materials, there will be strong steel tubes which will form the pillars of the building as in recent architecture people to use al otbyhis new tubes techniques in building. 

I will use the structure uses steel tubes for their high and durability. They provide the necessary support for the wavy design, ensuring stability and longevity.

The whole building will be surrounded with long aluminum bars in a parametric shapes. I opted for aluminum for the pluses it offers in building.

First, it can easily be shaped in form we want. This ability helps me in forming it in an aesthetic way.  The exterior facade is made of brown aluminum panels. The brown colour adds a warm and inviting look to the station.

Second, it can be used for heavy weights. This means that it is really strong for building process. Another thing is it resistance to corrosion and stain.

 Aluminum is durable and resist temperature that cause corrosion. In addition to aluminum, I'm going to use glass is used for windows and walls.

 Glass will be soundproof so as to reduce noise pollution. Glass will be the layer that comes between concrete and aluminum parametric bars. I will also use marble in a creamy color in the floor tiling.

Cream-colored marble is used for flooring and some interior walls. Marble offers a luxurious and timeless finish, is easy to clean, and stands up well to heavy foot traffic.

Best ides its aestetic value it gives to building, marble has the capacity to be easily curved and shaped will help a lot in the wavy theme I'm adopting in my project.
